The Church of Christ at Mountain View is inviting anyone who would like to stop and pray for our country and the upcoming election to step into the “prayer closet” (utility building at the church entrance or the new pavilion seen from Rt. 11). The church has painted an American flag in their front yard along with the words, “Pray For America.” Mountain View is hoping over 1000 people will stop and pray for the U.S.A. and sign the register book that they have done so. Senior Evangelist Doug Hardman says, “We are not endorsing one candidate over the other and we are not telling people how to vote; we are only asking them to be in prayer for God’s will for our great country.” The church is located at  153 Narrow Lane, Winchester, VA 22602  or Rt. 11 south of Winchester next to the DMV.
