House2House
Launching September 2025
Since the beginning of the Church of Jesus Christ, the church has continually devoted themselves to “the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42).
They met together on the Lord’s Day and also during the week from house to house (46).
The Church of Christ at Mountain View continues this new covenant apostolic pattern and practice by meeting together as the body of Christ on Sundays and in smaller groups throughout the week.
Currently, groups meet weekly on our campus on Sunday mornings during each of our two services, Sunday nights, Monday nights (Celebrate Recovery), Tuesday nights (Outreach Group), Wednesday nights (Women’s, Men’s, Mixed Group, Youth and Children’s groups). An online Zoom Women’s Bible Study group meets Wednesday mornings. Once a month, a group meets in an area home (House Church). Our seniors meet once a month on the second Saturday on our campus. Other ministry and fellowship groups meet at various times and frequencies.
Beginning the week after Winning at Winchester, additional groups will be offered. In order to provide more opportunities for groups to meet, we are transitioning away from our Sunday night preaching service.
Additional opportunities to gather in small groups on Sunday nights and during the week will be shared over the next few weeks and then as they develop. Each group functions under the oversight of the leadership team of elders and evangelists. If you are interested in hosting or leading a group, please express your interest to one of our leadership team members. If you are interested in joining a group, please contact the group leader or host for more information.
